"Mine-run" rough material purchased over 20 years ago that can be cut into some fine gemstones, or just used as specimens. No guarantees, but this material is greatly superior to the most recent iolite rough that has come on the market.

Lapis Lazuli

. Finely colored "cut-offs" from European gemstone cutting fasctories. This material has good color and can be cut into fine cabachon cut gemstones.

Selected "mine-run" material that will cut fine cabachon gemstones - many with "stars", and mostly rubies. There may be a few sapphires of various colors mixed in.

"Mine-run" material that contains cuttable gemstones for cabachon or facet cutting. This material is getting scarce, so the price is only good while the supply lasts.

Black Opal
from Honduras

Brown to black matrix with a fine array of pin-fire with colors ranging from red, green, and gold to deep purple and blue. This is solid material that will cut nice opal gemstones! Over 30 years in storage, it was hand-picked by the mine owner.
